Off Limits

Off Limits (Harlequin Blaze) by Jordan Summers

ATF special agent Delany Carter despises flying... yet she's landed an undercover gig as a flight attendant! Unfortunately, all the bags of nuts in the world can't disguise the fact that she's the worst in history. But when her assignment - former arms dealer Jack Gordon- boards the plane, Delany suspects that being trapped in a hunk of airborne metal at 30000 feet isn't such a bad idea after all.

Delany has her orders, recruit Jack and find out everything he knows about an upcoming weapons sale. But then she finds herself gloriously tangled up in Jack's bed. Lack of judgement? No, sirree! She's just doing her job - over and over and over...

Not a great book, but entertaining read. Oh and yet it is quite hot. I'd rate it a 4/5.

Deal With This (The Goddard Project, Book 2)

Alan Hyatt could do his job in his sleep, and when the Goddard Project sends him to investigate a case of high-tech espionage in the Vancouver film industry, he finds a perfect reason to work in bed. But sizzling actress Jillian Carlyle also happens to be his landlady, and she's got a hard-and-fast (so to speak) rule that keeps her from dating her renters. While Alan's cover as a reporter gets him close to all the suspects on the set of Jillian's sci-fi show, playing a background actor at her suggestion to get his story? Well, that's something else--but he's not about to turn down a red-hot redhead, even if she keeps throwing him curves...

Jillian just can't understand it. Sure, Alan is six-feet-something of chiseled ruggedness with gray eyes and an irresistible growl in his voice. But hello? She doesn't do relationships--even of the casual kind--with men who impact more than her senses. No one is getting a chance at her heart. Especially not one of her renters. Still, there's nothing wrong with enjoying Alan from afar--but not too far, or she wouldn't be able to fully appreciate his rock-hard abs when he's working out in the home gym. If only he didn't make her feel safe and oh so right when they touched...
Deal With This - Lucy Monroe

If you've read Lucy Monroe's books before then you know what's in store for you, especially with the very hot cover for this book. I'll admit that the cover and the author made this book a must buy but I was a little leary about the plot. However Ms. Monroe drew me into her web and made me care about Alan and Jillian, both very likable characters and very easy to fall in love with.

This book is easily deserves a solid 4. But with the cover and steamy scenes, I'll give it a 4.5

Every Frat Boy Wants It

At eighteen, Jeff Morgan is the quintessential all-American boy--blond, blue-eyed, and a star jock at his small Kansas high school. Enrolling at California State University-Polk, Jeff plans to become a writer. He also hopes that the macho nature of fraternity life will help him get over his lifelong attraction to other men. The reality couldn't be more different...

Through Blair Blanchard, the drama major son of divorced movie stars, Jeff discovers the Beta Kappa fraternity, and enters a world where alcohol and drugs serve as an excuse for covert trysts between frat brothers...where the pledging process becomes a sensual, S&M-fueled bacchanal...where weekends in L.A. and Palm Springs are no-holds-barred adventures in sexual exploration...and where Spring Break is a boys-gone-wild porn movie come to life. Through every encounter, from intense couplings with older frat brothers to sizzling three-ways with hot new pledges, Jeff also deals with his increasingly complex feelings--for Blair, for a handsome new arrival, and for life within Beta Kappa itself.
Every Frat Boy Wants It by Todd Gregory

I won't lie, this book is a guilty pleasure. In a word its all about Jeff Morgan, a boy from a the mid-west and his first year at college. He meets up with Blair Blanchard, pledges to a frathouse, has gobs of sex, drugs, and booze with several members of the house and finally falls in love.

OK, the book isn't quite as sleazy as my summary makes it out to be. Its a fast read, pretty brainless and somehow has a unique charm that makes you liek Jeff and root for him and Blair. Of course it does help that the sex is hot. Highly recommended for a sinful weekend read.

Oh and a must watch for Todd Gregory if you like M/M novels.

Pickpocket Countess

It's Brandon Wycroft's duty as the Earl of Stockport to catch the "Cat," a notorious thief who is stealing from rich local homes to feed the poor. Discovering that the Cat is a woman, he changes his plan of action— to a game of seduction!

Mysterious and tempting, she teases him. And, as the net closes around the Cat, Brandon realizes he wants to protect her as well as bed her. But the only way to catch her is to spring the parson's mousetrap—and make her his countess!
Pickpocket Countess by Bronwyn Scott

This book started out quite well and plot wise quite fresh for a regency novel. I would also like to commend Ms Scott for the started of the book. On page one Brandon has already "caught" the notorious Cat but in a surprise move has the tables turned on him. I won't give too much away, but the Cat, whom our Earl falls for is unique and unlike most other heroines in regency novels. A complete original. The book was a delight to read, however it did falter towards the end with the Cat being way too distrustful of the Earl. But aside from that flaw, an excellent read.

Bedding The Baron

In the first in a dazzling new trilogy, Deborah Raleigh introduces three unforgettable heroes united by a friendship closer than brotherhood, a mysterious legacy, and a talent for seduction that no woman can resist...

Only the most damnable curiosity could compel Fredrick Smith to seek the truth about the father who abandoned him. And only a torrential storm could force him to stop at an inn en route. But what a treasure he finds there--a raven-haired beauty whose drab attire can't disguise her latent sensuality. And soon Fredrick's most pressing need is to melt Mrs. Portia Walker's icy reserve, and make her smile, sigh, and cry out with pleasure...

From the moment Fredrick enters Portia's inn--wet clothes clinging to sleek muscles, angelic features, shimmering gray eyes--she is vibrantly aware of the danger he presents. Portia was almost ruined once, and swore that no man would control her destiny again. But vows are no match for a desire that could be pure folly--or the most exquisite bliss...
Bedding The Baron by Deborah Raleigh

The concept for this book was interesting. 3 bastards (of nobility) were raised by a schoolmaster, and upon his death they inherit 20,000 pounds each. They also find out that this money was blackmailed from their respective fathers. Then starts their investigations as to what secrets their fathers are hiding, them facing their pasts, and eventually finding love.

Of the 3 bastards, Fredrick is the "geek". He's an inventor more than a lady's man, but because of his inventions has amassed a huge fortune. I was surprised at how much fun his journey with Portia was, and if he's the "weakest link" of the 3, then I can't wait for Ms. Raleigh's telling of the other 2 gentlemen.

Making Over Mr. Right

What is it about a computer geek trapped inside the body of a tall, dark, and handsome man that makes a woman's knees go weak?

Theo Maragos is actually an incredibly successful businessman who is to be featured in a major magazine. And it's Zoë's job as the Muse of Beauty to transform him from nerd to hunk. First to go are those wire-framed glasses . . . revealing a devilish twinkle in his blue eyes. Next is a close shave . . . showing off that sexy grin, not to mention dimples that can charm the clothes off this muse. It would be so easy to fall for Theo, but the number-one rule during Zoë's exile from Mount Olympus is don't fall in love, especially with a mortal. Will Zoë succeed in keeping her heart safe, or will she risk all for a lifetime with her very own Mr. Right?
Making Over Mr. Right by Judi Mccoy

After my success with "One Night With a Goddess" I could not wait to read the other 2 books in the series, sadly however I could not find the 2nd book on sale and instead bought "Making Over Mr. Right", the final book in the series. Some series start out strong but fizzle out by the final book, this however was not the case with "Making Over Mr. Right". I won't give away the secret ending, but let's just say that there's a reason nerdy Theo Maragos was able to become a 1st rate hunk. I'm not saying there aren't loose ends but this is after all a light hearted fantasy romance so put the logic stick aside and enjoy this wonderful ride.

There's something about Chloe that he can't quite put his finger on and Matt's determined to figure it out. Now, if he can just keep the rest of his hands off her in the meantime...
One Night With a Goddess by Judi Mccoy

I borrowed this book from the library because the premise was interesting, minor greek goddess is punished by Zeus to spend a year on earth making mortals happy. Hmmm.... either it a fun read or a great concept that totally bombs as we've seen happen so many times. I'm very happy to say that this book does not take itself too seriously, there's a lot of humor and heart. I started this book at about 7am and had 30mins to read it before work, what ended up happening was that I was slightly late for work and also spent my whole lunch hour devouring this book, rushed home and finished it up. Its fun, its sweet and its an easy read.

Roughhousing

He's rushed into things before, and it's always backfired on him, so James wants to take it slow. Bram is so forceful, though, so sexy and convincing that it's hard to stand fast against him. When a project at work seems to have fallen under Bram's influence through the old boy network, James decides to back off and tell Bram they have to cool down their heated relationship. Bram is willing to accommodate James.to a point. But what happens when self-assured Bram has had enough of James' insecurity? Taking up where A Bit of Rough left off, Roughhousing opens up Bram and James' relationship, following along as they become a real couple, and face the troubles that come from trying to blend two lives and two independent personalities. Their need for each other burns as hot as ever, but will that be enough to build a life on?
Roughhousing - Laura Baumbach

This is the continuation of the book "A Bit of Rough" and James and Bram are still as wonderful as ever. If you have not read "A Bit of Rough" but enjoy m/m romance, I highly recommended it. Of course it also helps that there are numerous and extremely hot bedroom scenes. I cannot recommend it enough, Laura is a wizard at developing her characters emotionally and make you just lap it all up.

Secrets and Misdemeanors - G. A. Hauser

Another wonderful M/M erotic romance. G. A. Hauser is another big name in M/M romance and with good reason. Both the characters of David and Lyle are very well developed and you can literally picture the book in your mind. This is another must read i you like M/M romance.

Sweet Temptations - Marilyn Lee

This is an anthology of erotica stories so be warned. I've always had a thing for twins and "Sister's Keeper" delivers in spades, both in story and the sizzle factor. Addicted and Sweet Surrender were also very hot scenarios that everyone will enjoy. The weakest link is One Sweet Night, where the story/scenario was iffy and the characters and writing was subpar. Still having 3 sizzling great stories makes this book a keeper.
